This was my first collection from my first garden 9-6-08
I remember the sermon at church that morning was "you reap what you sow"

My grape vine =P This is my first year to have my own complete garden. I spent a lot of my free time on the weekends planting, weeding, mulching, watering, and generally caring for my garden. I discovered that I enjoy it greatly and My hard work has paid off! These are pictures from my first picking of the garden and since them I have had 3 more collections. All equally or even more so bountiful! I thank God for the abundance and if anyone wants some acorn squash let me know... We have about 15 for ourselves for the rest of the year and there are about eight more still growing in the garden! I look forward to hopefully having a bigger garden next year. It really is a great feeling to see all your hard work pay off! :-)
